intervalation, n. (in-ter-val-AY-shun): a celebration to commemorate the passing of a specified interval of time since a significant event, as in “Today is the 2-month intervalation of our first date!” or “This is the 38-day intervalation of the beginning of this website.” Introduced to correct improper use of the word “anniversary,” both as in “2-month anniversary” as well as “2-year anniversary” (which could be probably rewritten “second anniversary,” or now, “2-year intervalation”).
